Are you interested in using eBay to increase your sales and visibility, but do not have the time nor the knowledge to do so? We may have a program well suited for you!
We will set up your eBay store as well as your eBay auctions. We will act as your eBay resource staff and manage your eBay activities so that you do not have to waste time nor resources fumbling around the vast eBay marketplace. With our eBay expertise, we can get your eBay business going quickly, inexpensively and effectively.
Market Research on Competition
We conduct an in-depth research on your eBay market sector and produce detailed reports. We study the eBay categories where your products should be featured in and identify the successful competitors. We provide statistics of these competitors' selling activities over the past 30 to 180 days. Such statistics will include the goods offered, auction formats, estimated sales, estimated fees, and more.
Formulate Strategy
Aside from studying your competition, we need to understand very clearly your situation: the product line, the strengths and limitations. We need to know the product hooks and leaders, the number of items you can offer, the desired number of auctions, etc.
With our understanding of your situation and your competition, we then formulate a strategy for your eBay business.
From Start to Finish
We manage all your eBay auctions as well as your eBay store operations from start to finish. We list the products and create the auctions. We answer all customer inquiries by e-mail. We manage all ongoing auctions through closings. We notify customers regarding bidding results as well as payment and shipment information. We monitor the customer payments and advise you when and where to ship orders. We provide comprehensive reports on auction details; e.g. auctions placed, fees, sold items, unsold items, relisted items, and more.
From the auction and store activities, we compile a list of bidders and visitors. This mailing list will grow through time, and will provide us an opportunity to embark on additional marketing and selling. We will send your offers to this list, a list of consumers who already know who you are and should prove to be receptive.
Commitment from Client
The client needs to understand that success using the eBay marketplace does not come overnight. It takes time and effort to build up a good reputation, and buyers look for stability and reputation as well as excellent customer service.
In online sales, pictures and copy are very important. We need you to provide us with the best pictures possible of each product, with shots from different angles if necessary. These pictures, as well as the copy on each product, should be provided to us in a timely manner. We require a minimum of description to express the attributes of your product (e.g. dimensions and weights of jewelry). We will embellish the description and ensure there are sufficient keywords and descriptive tactics that are necessary for the listing to rank well in eBay's search engines as well as some of the standard search engines.
While we run the eBay store and auctions, there are certain parts of the business that we do not handle. You, the client, keep ALL the product inventory; we do not keep any inventory and will never have possession. You need to ensure product availability for ongoing auctions and store sales. All the payments will be made to a designated PayPal account that you will open specifically for this seller activity and which we will have total access to. Deposits to your bank account will be made from the PayPal account to your bank account; we DO NOT keep any of the funds. When an order is paid, you must ensure shipment is processed correctly and promptly according to the advertised terms of shipping posted with the items. When problems arise with product quality, you must address these issues fairly and promptly.
The client has to understand that the eBay marketplace places a premium on good feedback from buyers. You, the eBay seller, have to provide excellent customer service, in order to build a good reputation.
The Cost
Initial Setup Fee - $1000
The Setup Fee covers the detailed market research reports as well as the formulation of the eBay strategy.
Monthly Management Fee - $2000
This covers management of both your eBay store and all your eBay auctions, from start to finish. This fee assumes that you will have up to 150 items in both the store and auctions per month; e.g. 100 items listed in the store for the month, and 25 items on weekly auction (4 weeks in a month).
For a larger operation (say 200 items in the store, and 40 items on weekly auction), we offer even more generous pricing. We will even consider a flat fee plus a commission; we are willing to share some of the risks with the client.
The initial contract goes for 6 months, after which, the client can decide to take over or to have us continue under an annual contract. Payment is due at the beginning of the agreement for the Initial Setup, and at the beginning of each month for the Management Fee.
The client is responsible for paying all the fees associated with having an eBay store and auction - eBay, PayPal, merchant credit account, shipping, server, etc.
